Color Contrast Does Not Meet Specifications

Short Description

Lack of color contrast makes it difficult or impossible for a user with low vision or color blindness to see all content

Long Description

  • In regular text, the ratio of the luminosity of the text to the background should be 4.5:1. In large text, the ratio of the luminosity of the text to the background should be 3:1. If text is not important to the content of an image, then there are no requirements about contrast.
  • Color contrast is necessary for some users with low vision and blindness, but it is helpful to many users.
